I could go on about the history of the Cosworthat this point but if you are reading this you already know that so I will tellyou about this actual car instead and what has been done over the last twelvemonths.
The car has only ever had two owners in itslifetime, the first was a company based in Cardiff which is no longer going andthe second was a gentleman in Barry South Wales. The second owner bought thecar in 1997 and it did not get used much only covering a few thousand milesfrom the time it was bought until the time it was parked in the gentleman’sgarage at the end of 2004 or beginning of 2005 due to an issue with the fuelpump where it remained untouched.
Fast forward 20 years after being hidden ina garage in a small side street in Barry the car finally got to see the lightof day again. The car was remarkably well preserved and by the dry and darkgarage protecting it from all the elements.
It was decided to sympathetically recommissionthe car to ensure that the next custodian would have a safe and usable classic. In order to bring it back to the standard that you see today the below list of jobswas carried out.

Once up and running the car was sentto a well know Cosworth specialist to be set up properly and all componentstested along with some electrical work to make run spot on as it should. Thenafter 50 miles of driving engine oil changed for fresh. Now having covered justover 100 miles of testing is nearing ready for its new owner.
The body work is overall in very good condition, I have no doubt that it would have had paint work done with its previous keepers but the only thing we have had painted is the bonnet due to a few marks from in storage. But the rest of the car is as you see it.
The interior is the real time warpwith the interior showing no sign of any heavy wear and tare at all and infactthe drivers seats is in amazing condition and like new. Two of the door cardshave the leather coming away slightly but are looking to rectify that before thecar goes to its next owner.
In our opinion this car is in verygood condition overall. It isn’t concours but it isn’t a fixer upper either. Ifyou are in the market for a good driving car which is pretty much rust freethen this is the car for you.
All yours for the bargain price of £37,000
