The Sir William Lyons design has remained timeless and coupled with itswonderful straight six engine producing 160 horsepower this car deserves to beseen on the road and truly enjoyed.

Originally registered in Surrey it remained in the south east of England before being purchased in 1968 by a gentleman living in Northern Ireland who over the next four years let it fall into a state of disrepair. Fortunately a vintage car enthusiast became aware of the car and bought it to rescue, he ended up keeping it until 2019 and very kindly gave the next owner a written account of ownership details and his full restoration which is in the comprehensive history file. Included in the file is the original green logbook which confirms the car has matching numbers.

The current owner acquired the car in May2025 to be part of his large Jaguar collection and immediately decided to make some upgrades to enhance the driving experience spending over £6,100 in partsalone to have a front disc brake conversion, complete polybush set and uprated anti-roll bar along with a new set of wire wheels and new Dimax Classic tyres. A decision was made to down size his property and so the difficult decision to sell some of his favourite vehicles has been made.

The overall condition of the car could isgood and very usable, mechanically the car starts on the button and drives wellalso.

Over the years thousands of pounds has beenspent maintaining this XK120 and the invoices are in the history file where youwill also find the original issue registration documents from 1954.
