1969 Jaguar E Type Series 2 + 2

Its an E Type which can be enjoyed what more can you say....

We are delighted to offer for sale this 1969 Jaguar E type series 2 4.2 2plus2. First registered in April 1969 and finished in Primrose yellow with a black leather interior and chrome wire wheels and full vinyl sunroof.

Fitted with the famous 4.2 straight 6 XK engine and mated to a four speed gearbox, the car drives great and as it should pulling well through all the gears with no troubles at all. Whilst pushing on through the twistie bends of the A roads this is very capable E type holding the roads well with no knocks or bangs through the suspension and providing a very enjoyable driving experience. The car has clearly been well maintained through out its life despite the lack of servicing history. The car is believed to be a matching numbers car from new but are currently awaiting a Jaguar Heritage certificate to confirm all the details of the car from factory.

Whilst the running and driving of the car is great there are some areas that could be improved. The paintwork as good as it looks in the pictures has some micro blistering when looking up close and the interior has signs of age with a tare on the arm rest. However the car is well priced barring these things in mind its still great value for an Etype which can be enjoyed straight away.
