1962 Jaguar E Type Roadster (LHD)
A meticulously restored, stunning concours car fully restored and ready to be enjoyed.
Built in early 1962 and first registered in Massachusetts February that year. The car is an original left hand drive car along with a matching numbers engine. This is confirmed by the heritage certificate.
The car in 2015 was specially sourced for a Jaguar restorer in Germany (Faszination Jaguar) for a full meticulous nut & bolt restoration. Whilst being restored either new parts were used or upgraded new parts like the 5 speed Tremec gearbox and the 4 pot Zeus brakes to help the car stop a little better. The car has also benefitted from a electronic ignition system, power steering and improved cooling to allow for easy driving in modern day traffic.
The car is as good now as the day it was restored in 2017 and certainly better than when it left the Jaguar factory, and has only covered a mere 300 miles since restoration.
The car was bought by the current owner at the Essen motor show in March 2017 and unfortunately has not had the use it was intended for. This E Type would make a fabulous European grand tourer ready to be used and enjoyed.
If you are in the market for a perfectly restored Jaguar E Type Roadster but don't want to wait for a lengthy build, then this is the car for you.
