1958 Jaguar MK1 3.4 Manual O/D LHD
The original fast four door saloon ideal for bank robbery's in the 50s & 60s
We are delighted to offer to market this beautiful example 1958 Jaguar MK2 3.4 Manual LHD. Manufactured 17 December 1958 and originally finished in black but changed some time ago to the current silver/grey along with red leather interior.
The car is overall in great condition through out, and spending the majority of its life in a sunnier and drier climate has paid off with regards to corrosion as there is virtually none. All the usual areas like crows feet, out riggers and bottoms of the doors are in great shape. The car was believed to of been painted in the USA long before coming to the UK. The paintwork is showing its age in places but no signs of corrosion at all. Having recently gone through a re commission the car runs and drives as it should and engine is silky smooth too. Everything works as it should including all the gauges and overdrive. The recent recommission included a brake overhaul including new front calipers, the fuel system gone through to remove any stale fuel, and cooling system gone through which included a new water pump. Car pulls great in every gear and stops equally as well.
